ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
When parties to a divorce cannot resolve a dispute but do not wish to proceed to an adversarial and costly trial, sometimes they decide to discuss their disagreements with a neutral third party called a mediator.
The mediator reviews statements of the case prepared by each spouse’s attorney, talks with the parties, and helps the parties arrive at a fair solution to the dispute. The attorneys of Balisle & Roberson, S.C. are trained in alternative dispute resolution and accept requests to mediate cases from attorneys throughout the state. Balisle & Roberson, S.C. also offers early neutral evaluation, second opinion consultation, and arbitration services.
